Kristan's love of flowers was the driving force behind creating an elegant as well as slightly whimsical atmosphere to her September 15, 2001 wedding to Jay.  Guests were greeted at the church with the delicious perfume emanating from the gardenias that hung in the heart-shaped wreaths on the front doors.  Following the ceremony, the bride and groom were showered with multi hues of pink rose petals as their limousine waited to whisk them away to their tent reception.  Guests enjoyed cocktails on the lawn, under candlelit lanterns that had been hung from giant fir trees.  Over two hundred luminaries guided guests to the tent for dinner and dancing.  At the close of the evening, guests lit sparklers to light the way to a horse drawn carriage, waiting for the newly married, Kristan and Jay.
